Early Life and Education

Tokhmagambetov was born in a village in present-day Kazakhstan. He initially studied under a mullah, but after the October Revolution, he pursued self-education.

Political Involvement

Tokhmagambetov played an active role in establishing Soviet authority in his village. He served as chairman of the Committee of the Poor in 1927-1928 and later held positions in the executive committee of the Karkaraly District and as a member of the Central Executive Committee of the Kazakh ASSR.

Journalism and Writing

From 1930-1960, Tokhmagambetov worked in various administrative and economic roles while also pursuing his writing career. He served as a correspondent and editor for several newspapers, including the regional newspaper "Sovettik Qazaqstan" and the district newspaper "Kommunism Tauy."

Tokhmagambetov's writing began appearing in print in 1920. Some of his most notable works include:
