Early Life and Education
Gabriel Cordell was born in 1970 in Tripoli, Libya. However, at the age of six, in 1976, he moved to the United States with his parents. New York became his new home, where he spent several years. Shortly after moving to the United States, Gabriel started attending school and showed great talent as an athlete. He excelled in American football and also practiced martial arts, particularly karate, in his free time. At the age of 13, Gabriel began helping his parents with their family business. His father owned several grocery stores on Long Island, New York, and Gabriel assisted with the unloading of products and profit calculations. Over the years, the business thrived, and the family no longer had financial worries, allowing them to live comfortably.
Acting Career and Life-Changing Accident
Gabriel's interest in the business gradually shifted towards dreams of an acting career. However, becoming an actor turned out to be much more challenging than he had anticipated. It was in 1992 when he was finally invited to his first professional audition. Little did he know that a simple car ride would forever change his life. At an intersection, Gabriel's car was struck by another vehicle traveling at full speed, driven by someone who had failed to notice the red traffic light. The impact was so severe that Gabriel was ejected from the car and crashed into a telephone pole, injuring his spine. Rehabilitation took more than four months, but even that couldn't stop Gabriel from pursuing his dream. Although he might never become a regular actor, he knew he could become an actor in a wheelchair.
Journey to Success
Upon returning to a normal life, Gabriel immediately began sending out his resumes to various theater companies across America. Within a few months, he made his first appearance on stage, and soon after, offers for film and theater roles became a familiar occurrence. To this day, Gabriel has played numerous roles on stage and famous film sets worldwide. However, it was not his acting skills that brought him particular fame, but his incredible willpower and desire to prove to the world that someone in a wheelchair can be much stronger than able-bodied individuals.
The Cross-Country Journey
On April 1, 2013, Gabriel set off in his manual wheelchair from Santa Monica, California, with 4989 kilometers ahead of him, dozens of new friends, and 99 days. Throughout the entire route, Gabriel was accompanied by a support group, and people in towns along the way welcomed the extraordinary traveler, sharing their own stories. After 99 days, Gabriel completed the final meters of his journey, approaching the home he hadn't seen for three months. Upon reaching his door, he became the first person in the world to travel from the west coast to the east coast of the United States in a wheelchair. His journey was documented in the film 'Roll With Me: A Journey Across America.'

Today, Gabriel Cordell continues to act in films and theater productions. Not long ago, he founded the 'Roll With Me' project, aimed at helping individuals with physical disabilities.
