Origin and Early Life
Gazanfar Aliyev, known professionally as GAZO GAZ, was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 1988. His passion for music was instilled by his mother, a renowned singer with an exceptional voice. At the age of 4, GAZO GAZ joined his school choir, eventually becoming its soloist.
Emigration and Emerging Talent
In 2002, GAZO GAZ moved to Almaty, Kazakhstan. While prioritizing education and work, he dedicated time to writing poetry, laying the foundation for his future career.
Musical Beginnings
GAZO GAZ established his home recording studio, investing in equipment and honing his skills. He experimented with rap and participated in rap battles, including the influential meloman.kz competition. His victory opened doors to local performances.
FaLanJA and Collaborations
In the early 2000s, GAZO GAZ formed FaLanJA, a rap group that released several songs before disbanding. He subsequently collaborated with Tanir of Da Gudda Jazz and performed alongside the renowned rap group ONYX from the United States.
Hiatus and Return
Despite his successes, GAZO GAZ initially did not consider music a profession, pursuing other ventures. However, in 2019, he returned to the industry, contributing to the hit song "ALA" with Guf.
Present Projects
GAZO GAZ continues to write and release solo tracks, maintaining a prolific output. While he has yet to release a full-length album, he has plans to embark on a solo project soon.
