Gloria Katz was an American screenwriter and producer known for her work on films such as "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom," "Howard the Duck," and "American Graffiti."

In the early 1970s, Katz and her husband and writing partner, Willard Huyck, began collaborating with George Lucas. Together, they penned the screenplay for "American Graffiti," which earned them the National Society of Film Critics Award and an Academy Award nomination in 1974.

Katz and Huyck went on to write the screenplay for Steven Spielberg's 1984 adventure blockbuster "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom." They also collaborated on the fantasy comedy "Howard the Duck," which earned them unwanted recognition with Golden Raspberry Awards.
