Graham Elliot Bowles, known simply as Graham Elliot, was born in 1977 in Seattle, Washington. Growing up in a military family, Elliot developed a passion for the culinary industry. At the age of 18, he dropped out of school and began working in the food industry. Starting as a dishwasher and busboy, Elliot later became a student at the Johnson & Wales University Culinary School.

Seeking further opportunities, he moved to Vermont and joined the prestigious restaurant 'The Jackson House Inn & Restaurant'. In 2004, Elliot gained recognition when he was named one of the Best New Chefs by 'Food & Wine Magazine'. This accolade led him to Chicago, where he worked in top-rated restaurants, setting the stage for his rise to fame.
