In 2001, Ackermann presented his first collection of women's clothing in Paris for the autumn-winter season of 2001-2002. As he developed his own clothing line, the designer created two collections for the brand "Ruffo Research" for the spring-summer and autumn-winter seasons of 2003.

In December 2004, Haider Ackermann was honored with the prestigious "Swiss Textiles Award" presented by the Swiss textile organization "Textilverband Schweiz". In November 2004, he showcased his collection in Moscow as part of the "AlboModa" festival.

Style and Influences

Ackermann is known for constantly experimenting and combining different materials to create his clothing. The color palette of his collections is often subdued, with shades of brown and ochre. When designing women's ensembles, the designer often presents androgynous forms that simultaneously depersonalize and give futuristic features to the woman's image. Thus, contradiction is the main characteristic of Ackermann's creative work.
