Student Activism

Harun Karadeniz emerged as one of the prominent student leaders of the 1968 generation, serving as the President of the Student Union at Istanbul Technical University. Along with other influential figures such as Deniz Gezmiş, he played a pivotal role in organizing protests against the arrival of the U.S. Sixth Fleet in Turkey and the ongoing Vietnam War.
