Career in Vienna
From 1920 to 1934, Fromm served as an assistant at the Psychiatric and Neurological Clinic in Vienna. During this time, he simultaneously underwent training analysis at the Vienna Psychoanalytic Institute.

Fromm assumed the role of publisher of the "International Zeitschrift fur Psychoanalyse" from 1932 to 1941. He also made significant contributions to the field of psychology, specializing in the psychology of the self.
Emigration and Later Career
