Early Life and ChildhoodHarvey Leigh Cantwell, professionally known as HRVY, was born in Kent, England on January 28, 1999. From a young age, HRVY showed a passion for music, performing for family and friends. Inspired by icons like Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake, he began imitating their moves and vocals.
Musical Beginnings
At a school talent show, HRVY's friends encouraged him to upload his performances on Facebook. These videos caught the attention of Blair Dreelan, former frontman of East-17, who offered him a contract with Universal Music despite HRVY's lack of formal training.

HRVY keeps his personal life relatively private. While he often shares photos with fans and fellow musicians, he has avoided confirming romantic relationships. In 2017, he began posting pictures and videos with American TikTok star Loren Gray, sparking speculation about a romance. However, HRVY referred to her as a friend in social media posts, and by 2020, she had disappeared from his Instagram feed.
