1992 NHL Draft

Douglas Murray was selected 158th overall in the 7th round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues.

1995 Trade to New York Rangers

On December 28th, 1995, Murray was traded to the New York Rangers.
1996 Trade to Los Angeles Kings

Less than three months later, on March 14th, 1996, Murray was traded again, this time to the Los Angeles Kings.

2004 Free Agency and Colorado Avalanche

Murray became an unrestricted free agent on July 2nd, 2004. He subsequently signed a contract with the Colorado Avalanche.
