Inna Shupak
Early Life and Education
Inna Shupac was born on February 9, 1984, in Bessarabka, southern Moldovan SSR. In 2006, she graduated from the International Independent University of Moldova with a major in history and international relations. As an outstanding student, she received the Bursa de Merit scholarship from the Council of Rectors of the Republic of Moldova.
Political Career
Youth ActivismShupac's political career began with her election as First Secretary of the Communist Youth Union of Moldova in 2007. She held this position until 2011.
Parliamentary Membership
In April 2009, Shupac was elected to the Parliament of Moldova as a member of the Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM). She continued to serve in Parliament after the elections of July 2009 and 2010.
Education and Beyond
Shupac holds a Master's degree in anthropology from the Higher Anthropological School. She also completed an internship in the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg. After returning from Europe, she worked in the Moldovan President's Office.
