Biography of Irada Ibrahimova

Irada Ibrahimova is a popular Azerbaijani pop singer, born on April 3, 1980, in Baku. From a young age, she had a passion for music and even held the title of "Zeynab Khanlarova". In 1995, Irada participated in the music competition "Umid 95", organized by the Azerbaijan State Television (AZTV), with the help of her mother and sister. She became a laureate of this competition.

After finishing school, Ibrahimova applied to the journalism faculty at the "Khazar" University. Alongside her studies, she also performed on television. Following one of her performances, Irada met the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, Bilal Aliyev, who helped her with appearances in show programs.

In 2001, Ibrahimova started collaborating with composer Khanim Ismayilgizi. Their work resulted in successful songs such as "Qam qalasayam", "Sev meni bele", "Sendemi olmek istedim", "Demisem", and others. These and several other compositions were included in Ibrahimova's first album, "Qam qalasayam", which was presented on October 25, 2002, at the "Izmir" restaurant. During this time, the singer's repertoire also included the "royal" song by composer Govhar Gasanzade, "Get", which topped the charts in Azerbaijan for several months.

In June 2003, Ibrahimova released her second solo album titled "Get". In addition to this song, the album included compositions such as "Gun gelecek", "Demedim sevirem", "Roya kimi", and others. That same year, Ibrahimova's official website, www.iradaibrahimova.com, was launched.

Ibrahimova held her first solo concert on December 26, 2004, at the Heydar Aliyev Center. In 2005, she released her third solo album, "Bahar chicheyi", for which music videos were made to promote some of the songs, successfully aired on television. In 2007, her fourth musical collection, "Yasanlar", was released.

Ibrahimova frequently and successfully performs not only in Azerbaijan but also in Turkey, Russia, and Europe. In 2008, she gave her first concerts in the United States. Since 2006, Ibrahimova has been studying at the University of Arts. Together with her sister Nigar, she owns the beauty salon "IN studio", which opened at the end of 2006. In 2011, Ibrahimova graduated from the University of Arts.

In 2008, a fan club dedicated to the singer was opened at www.iradaibrahimova.net. The website ceased to exist in 2011. On April 5, 2009, Ibrahimova married Jeyhun, a Turkish citizen of Azerbaijani origin. The wedding ceremony took place at the new entertainment center "Buta" in Baku. Later, on April 19, 2009, another wedding was held in Istanbul, the groom's homeland.

On November 11, 2010, Ibrahimova gave birth to her daughter Ipek at a clinic in Istanbul. After a short break, she returned to the stage at the end of 2011, recording two new songs, "Gule-Gule" and "Qalbimdəsən", which were widely successful and played on Azerbaijani radio stations throughout 2011 and 2012.

In recent years, the singer has been working in Turkey under a contract with a production center. As a result of this collaboration, the long-awaited single "Olmamalydı" was released in October 2014. In December 2014, Ibrahimova presented a Turkish single and music video titled "Senelar", which was successfully aired on Turkish and Azerbaijani music channels. On June 8, 2015, she released a music video for the single "Olmamalydı" in a new arrangement.

On September 9, 2015, Ibrahimova gave birth to her son in Istanbul.
