Early Life and Education
Irina Vidova was born on November 15 in Minsk, Belarus. Her parents were Ludmila Grigoryevna, a former singer, and Stanislav Nikolaevich, a fighter pilot. Vidova had a musical upbringing: she began figure skating and playing the piano at the age of five. In 1993, she graduated from the Music and Pedagogy Faculty of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University with a focus on classical vocals, piano, and conducting.
Debut and Collaboration
Vidova made her television debut in early 1995 with the songs "Osen - Dosada" and "Ne Grusti, Korol." Her first recordings were made at the Pesnyary studio. In the same year, she met Oleg Molchan, a music producer and composer who would become her husband and creative partner.
Molchan played a pivotal role in Vidova's career. Together, they embarked on a collaborative journey that would produce numerous hit songs. Molchan's compositions and Vidova's vocals formed a successful combination, establishing her as a rising star in the Belarusian music scene.
Recognition and Awards
Vidova's talent was recognized with several prestigious awards. In 2006, she received the Golden Ear First Music Radio Award. She also won the Audience Appreciation Award at the National Music Prize (2011).
