One of the Leaders of the Partisan Movement

During the Great Patriotic War, he was one of the leaders of the partisan movement in the Minsk region.

Partisan Warfare

From June 1941, he fought on the Western Front. In August 1941, he was assigned by the Minsk Underground Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus (Bolsheviks) to organize a partisan detachment.

Commander of Partisan Detachments

From June 1942, he served as the leader of a sabotage group, assistant commander, and commander of a partisan detachment. From June to September 1943, he commanded the 225th "Alexander Suvorov" Partisan Brigade. From September 1943 to June 1944, he commanded the 95th "Mikhail Frunze" Partisan Brigade. During this period, he was also a member of the Gress Underground District Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus (Bolsheviks).

Post-War Career

From 1944 to 1963, he held various economic positions in the Minsk region.
