Early Life and EducationBorn on January 10, 1993, in Islington, London, Jacob Scipio is the son of an Indian Guyanese father and an English mother. After completing his secondary education, Jacob pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Literature from the University of Essex.
Early Career and Stage Appearances
Jacob's acting career began at the tender age of nine months when he landed a minor role in the TV series "Screen One." Throughout his childhood and teenage years, Jacob continued to appear in theatrical productions and TV shows, including the musical "The King and I" in 2001. He also hosted the children's game show "Kerwhizz" and became a prominent figure on Disney Channel UK.
Breakthrough and Notable Roles
In 2012, Jacob's short film advocating for HIV awareness screened at the Cannes Film Festival. He wrote the screenplay himself and later penned scripts for other short films presented at the festival.
