James and Oliver Phelps - Twin Actors

James and Oliver Phelps are twin brothers who are remarkably similar to each other. The only difference between the two is a small mole on Oliver's neck (James doesn't have one). Oh, and of course, James is the older brother, being thirteen minutes older than Oliver. James and Oliver Phelps are funny boys who played the red-haired twins in the movie 'Harry Potter'. Despite various opinions, they are indeed twins and not the same actor duplicated by computer. Although they don't have many scenes together in the film, these two boys have won the hearts of millions of girls around the world. Although the twins themselves say that they are rarely recognized, they recall an incident when they went to a swimming pool and someone jokingly said that they would be perfect for the roles of Fred and George from 'Harry Potter' because they had red hair. The person who said this didn't even realize that they were Fred and George themselves! In reality, their hair is not red, as the boys themselves believe, but chestnut. James and Oliver have been avid fans of 'Harry Potter' since childhood. When their mother told them about auditions she heard about in Leeds (about 200 miles from where they live), the boys immediately set their minds on participating. The twins went, read excerpts from the script, and a few days later, they received a phone call bringing them the joyful news: they got the roles! Martin Phelps, the twins' father, tells the story of how when they arrived in Leeds, his sons wanted to turn around and go back, frightened by the number of people who also responded to the announcement. Fortunately, they didn't do that, and as a result, the boys got their roles. Their father is sincerely proud that his twins' names are next to such famous names in the credits as Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane, and Maggie Smith. Do James and Oliver resemble their characters? "In some ways - yes, in some ways - no," the twins themselves answer. Oliver Phelps says that he is talkative, active, and friendly, and these qualities are also present in his character, George Weasley. Like George, Oliver also has a twin brother. So, what's the difference between them? Oliver himself believes that he shows more respect towards older siblings. James and Oliver are remarkably similar to each other. The only difference between the two is a small mole on Oliver's neck (James doesn't have one). Oh, and of course, let's not forget that James is the older brother, being thirteen minutes older than Oliver. On set, James and Oliver never compete, preferring to do so off-camera. Although, according to the boys themselves, their only competition is playing golf. However, each of them knows that they can always rely on each other.
