James Anderson

James Anderson is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the basketball club "Darussafaka". He was selected with the 20th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs.
Early Career
Anderson appeared in six games at the beginning of the season before suffering a stress fracture in his right foot's fifth metatarsal. In order to regain his form for the next season, he was sent to the Austin Toros, the San Antonio Spurs' affiliate team in the NBA Development League.
NBA Career
In 2012, Anderson participated in the training camp of the Atlanta Hawks. He then signed a contract with the San Antonio Spurs on November 21, 2012, but was waived by the team on December 20, 2012. Anderson was offered a contract by the Houston Rockets for the remainder of the 2012/2013 season.
During his time with the Rockets, he played in 29 games before being waived on July 15, 2013. Anderson then signed a contract with the Philadelphia 76ers on July 16, 2013. He played in 80 games for the Sixers, starting in 62 of them. On average, Anderson played 28.9 minutes per game and scored 10.1 points.
One of his notable performances came on November 13, 2013, when he scored 36 points against the Houston Rockets. However, his contract with the 76ers was terminated on July 30, 2014.
International Career
On August 5, 2014, Anderson signed a one-year contract with Žalgiris, a Lithuanian basketball club. After his stint with Žalgiris, he signed a contract with the Sacramento Kings on July 16, 2015.
