Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Born on July 29, 1973, in Washington, DC, American country music singer Otto first discovered his love for music at the age of four when he began singing. He later pursued saxophone lessons and, at age 13, received a guitar for his birthday. His musical journey took a significant turn as he dedicated himself to learning guitar.

Military Service and Move to Nashville

Following high school, Otto served in the military for two years. In 1998, he relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, and a year later became a member of the music group MuzikMafia.

Music Career and Record Deal

Otto's music career took off in 2002 when he signed with Mercury Nashville Records. His debut single, "The Ball," debuted at number 45 on the Billboard chart. However, his follow-up single, "Long Way Down," failed to make an impact. Undeterred, Otto released his third single, "Days of Our Lives," in 2003, which reached number 33 on the charts. His debut album, also titled "Days of Our Lives," followed in 2004.

Switch to Warner Bros. Records

In 2007, Otto parted ways with Mercury Nashville Records and signed with Warner Bros. Records Nashville. He released his first single on the label, "Just Got Started Lovin' You," in late 2007. His second album, "Sunset Man," was scheduled for release in April 2008.
