Janhvi Kapoor, an Indian actress and model, was born into a prominent artistic dynasty on March 6, 1997 in Mumbai, India. Her parents, producer Boney Kapoor and legendary actress Sridevi, provided a strong foundation for her eventual foray into the entertainment industry. Kapoor's father's grandfather, Surinder Kapoor, was a renowned filmmaker, while her uncles, Anil and Sanjay Kapoor, are established actors. Her younger sister, Khushi Kapoor, and half-brother, Arjun, have also chosen creative professions.

Despite her family's illustrious lineage, Kapoor's mother, who had experienced firsthand the challenges of the film industry, initially hoped she would pursue a different path.
