Robin Duvillard: A French Skiing Star
Early CareerFrench skier Robin Duvillard began his competitive skiing journey in 2001, making his debut in the prestigious FIS Cross-Country World Cup.
Olympic Success
Duvillard has represented France in three Winter Olympics: Turin 2006, Vancouver 2010, and Sochi 2014. His most notable Olympic achievement came at the 2014 Sochi Games, where he earned a bronze medal in the 4x10km relay. Additionally, he achieved a respectable 6th place finish in the 15km + 15km skiathlon.
World Championship Podium
Duvillard has also made his mark at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, participating in six tournaments since 2005. He struck gold in the 4x10km relay at the 2015 Falun World Championships, adding to his collection of World Championship medals. His best individual result came at the 2007 event, where he placed 7th in the 50km classical race.
World Cup Achievements
Duvillard's lone World Cup victory came in February 2008, showcasing his exceptional skills on the international stage. He has also accumulated an impressive 8 podium finishes in World Cup events, including 6 in individual races and 2 in team competitions. His highest overall ranking in the World Cup came in the 2008-09 season, where he secured 7th place.
