Jeff Green, an American real estate entrepreneur and politician, was born on December 19, 1954, in Worcester, Massachusetts. His father managed a business selling textile machinery, while his mother worked as a teacher in a Jewish school. Growing up, Jeff was taught the value of money and the importance of finding the best deals. In 1970, his family moved to Florida after his father lost his business. In Florida, Jeff's mother worked as a waitress, and his father filled vending machines.

Jeff worked various jobs to support his education and eventually earned a bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology from Johns Hopkins University in just three years. He later attended Harvard Business School and obtained a master's degree in Business Administration in 1977. In the 1980s and 1990s, Jeff lived in Southern California.
