Jeffrey Brandon Timmons, an American musician, was born on April 30, 1973, in Canton, Ohio. He gained public recognition as a member of the popular boy band '98 Degrees', which has sold over 10 million records. More than 40 singles from the group have topped various charts. Currently, Jeffrey works as a solo artist.

'98 Degrees' Formation

In the '98 Degrees' band, Timmons was not just a member but also one of the founding members. They formed the group independently and were later noticed by a recording label. The first recording company that took notice of the group was 'Motown' in the mid-1990s. The boys had the opportunity to sing alongside the legendary Stevie Wonder for the soundtrack of the movie 'Mulan'. Their song 'True to Your Heart' instantly appealed to the audience, igniting interest in the relatively unknown group. Their album '98° and Rising', which included the hit song, quickly disappeared from music store shelves. This marked the rise of '98 Degrees' in 1998. Soon after, the group signed a contract with representatives from 'Universal Records'.

Solo Career and International Success

In the early 2001, all members of the group decided to take a short break and pursue solo projects. Timmons released his first solo album titled 'Whisper That Way' in 2004. 'Man Band' and Current Endeavors

In October 2006, it was announced that Jeff would participate in a new reality show called 'Man Band'. His partners in the show were Bryan Abrams from 'Color Me Badd', Rick Cronin from 'LFO', and Chris Kirkpatrick from 'N`SYNC'. The new group would be called 'Sureshot'. Currently, Jeff Timmons is fully occupied with working on his second solo album.
