Biography of Jessica Andrews
Born in a small townJessica Andrews, the singer, has been dubbed by journalists as the "musical princess of America" in the country genre. Born into a simple but very musical family in the small town of Huntington, Jessica's mother, Vicky Andrews, performed in several musical groups and introduced her daughter to singing from a young age. "Our favorite activity was singing a cappella as a family," Jessica recalls.
Overcoming a serious illness
In 1990, when Jessica was six years old, doctors discovered a serious spinal condition. There was a real threat of losing the ability to move and becoming disabled, confined to a wheelchair for life. Fortunately, a complex operation was successful, bringing happiness and renewed strength to Jessica.
Pursuing her dream
Inspired by her recovery, Jessica began taking vocal lessons and performed at every possible celebration and local concert. Her efforts did not go unnoticed, and soon she caught the attention of renowned music producer Byron Gallimore. Impressed by Jessica's tone and powerful voice, he started recording her first album, titled "World in the Shape of a Heart."
Continuing success
Currently, Jessica is working on her third music video and second album. Alongside the incomparable stars of the country music genre, such as Julie Reeves and Charlie Tennison, Jessica will be competing for the prestigious title of "Best Female Vocalist-2000" at the Annual Country Music Awards in Los Angeles.
