Jessica Gomes is an Australian model and actress. She was born on September 25, 1985, in Perth, Australia, to Portuguese father Joe Gomes and Chinese mother Jenny. However, there are conflicting sources that suggest she may have been born in New South Wales or Sydney.

According to writer Peter Cullum, who provides detailed biographical information about Jessica, she initially lived in Sydney before moving to Western Australia. She spent her childhood in a semi-rural setting and was a bit of a wild child. When she was 13 years old, her mother sent her to a modeling school in Midland, a suburb of Perth.

In 2004, after relocating to New York City, Gomes signed a contract with IMG Models. While she didn't find success in Paris and Milan, her beauty was appreciated in various Asian countries such as Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai.
