Early Life and InfluencesBorn and raised in Queens, New York, Joey Beltram began his musical journey as a DJ at the tender age of 12. Inspired by the pulsating rhythms and energetic beats of Detroit and Chicago house music, he ventured into producing at 17. Path to Success
Beltram's initial release came under the alias Code 6 on the Nu Groove label. Collaborations with Atmosphere Records, Easy Street, and Trax Records followed. However, his pivotal moment arrived in 1989 when he relocated to Ghent, Belgium, launching his European DJ career.

In 1991, Beltram returned to Queens and crafted the iconic "Energy Flash."
