Jonathan Dwyer, whose full name is Jonathan Avery Dwyer, is a professional American football player currently playing as a running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL).

Early Life and High School Career

Dwyer was born on July 26, 1989, in Woodstock, Georgia. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in American football and began playing for his high school team, Kell High School. Dwyer quickly became the team's leader and impressed not only his school coaches but also college scouts who attended his games. By the time he graduated, Dwyer had earned the title of Georgia's Player of the Year, leaving no doubt that he had a promising future ahead of him.

College Career

Initially leaning towards joining the Florida Gators at the University of Florida, Dwyer ultimately decided to stay in his home state and play for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. In his first year at the university, he secured a position as a backup running back.
