Johnny Darkko is an American porn director, producer, actor, and photographer. He began his career in Chicago, where he studied and worked as a professional photographer, taking pictures for fashion magazines. In 1998, Darkko moved to Los Angeles.

In Los Angeles, Darkko focused on erotic photography and worked for JM Productions, Sin City, and other companies. It was during this time that Darkko became interested in videography and worked as a second operator for Jill Kelly before becoming a director under the guidance of Scott Taylor from New Sensations. This is how Darkko found himself in the porn industry.

His work caught the attention of John Stagliano, the director of the famous porn studio Evil Angel, who offered Darkko a directorial contract.
