Biography of Juan Pablo Carrizo
Juan Pablo Carrizo is an Argentine footballer and goalkeeper for the club "Internazionale". He made his debut for Lazio on August 31, 2008, in a match against Cagliari during the first round of Serie A. He also made his debut for Zaragoza on August 29, 2009, in a match against Tenerife during the first round of the Spanish championship. On January 31, 2013, he was loaned to Internazionale.
International Career
Carrizo made his debut for the Argentine national team on April 18, 2007, in a friendly match against Chile. Initially, he was not the first-choice goalkeeper and only played in friendly matches. However, on September 6, 2008, during a World Cup qualifier against Paraguay, Roberto Abbondanzieri got injured in the 14th minute, and Carrizo came on as a substitute.
On April 1, 2009, Carrizo defended Argentina's goal in a World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, which ended in a shocking 6-1 defeat for Argentina. This was one of the team's most significant losses in history.
