Early Career

Lewis is an English racing driver who competed in Formula One in the late 1980s. He began his career in British Formula Ford in the early 1980s, before moving up to Formula 3000 in 1986, where he won a race at Brands Hatch.

Formula One

In 1988, Lewis made his Formula One debut with Tyrrell Racing. He failed to score any points and failed to qualify for ten of the races he competed in. He left Formula One the following year to pursue sports car racing, driving for Nissan.

Return to Formula One

In 1991, Lewis attempted to return to Formula One with Lotus, but failed to qualify for three of the four races he attempted.

Later Career

From 1993 onwards, Lewis competed in the British Touring Car Championship with Toyota. In 1997, he moved to the FIA GT Championship, where he raced for Lister Storm.
