Early Life and Career
Julian Sands, a celebrated British actor, was born into a family of five brothers in Otley, West Yorkshire. His brother, Quentin, was voted the Sexiest Man in Britain by She magazine in 1998. After graduating from the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, Sands pursued his passion for acting on the stage. His cinematic debut came in 1984 with a supporting role as a photographer in Roland Joffé's "The Killing Fields."

Rise to Stardom
Sands rose to prominence in 1985 for his portrayal of George Emerson in James Ivory's "A Room with a View." This breakout performance paved the way for his relocation to Hollywood. After their divorce in 1987, Sands married journalist Evgenia Sitkovitch in 1990. Together, they welcomed two daughters: Natalya Morley Sands and Imogen Morley Sands. The actor maintains close friendships with John Malkovich and Jodie Foster.
