Early Life and EducationJulius Lange, a renowned Danish art historian, was born in 1838. He completed his studies at the University of Copenhagen in 1858, embarking on a transformative journey to Italy shortly after his graduation.
Academic Career
Upon his return to Denmark, Lange embarked on an illustrious academic career. In 1870, he became a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, sharing his knowledge and insights with aspiring artists. Five years later, in 1875, he joined the faculty of the University of Copenhagen, where he continued to inspire students and further establish his authority in the field.
