Early Life and Education

Erkin Vohidov was born into a family of a civil servant. In 1952, he graduated from the Philology Department of the Central Asian University in Tashkent.

Literary Career

Vohidov's first published works appeared in 1950. In 1953, he became the head of the "Sharq Yulduzi" magazine. He later served as the editor-in-chief of "Gulhan" magazine, deputy editor-in-chief of "Uzbekiston Ovozi" newspaper, and director of the Gafur Gulam Literature and Art Publishing House.

Vohidov published numerous poetry collections, including:
