Katrina Chester is an American singer and actress, and the daughter of legendary session drummer Gary Chester. She began her creative journey in the most ideal conditions for developing her musical talent. Even at a young age, she performed live music on the New York stage and fearlessly showcased new musical material, while most of her peers were more concerned with getting their driver's licenses. Her band 'Luxx' performed around 300 times in the US and abroad over three years. Katrina's powerful voice and whirlwind-like sound of 'Luxx' helped her open for 'Godsmack', '3 Doors Down', 'Fuel', and others.

Platinum Success and Acting Career

The 'platinum' status of Katrina Chester's albums and her band's albums showcased the quality of the material she recorded at 'BMG' studio. Her magical vocals can also be heard on the triple 'platinum' album 'Awake' by 'Godsmack' and the double 'platinum' recording with the 'Trans-Siberian Orchestra'. In early 2002, the singer won the leading role in the off-Broadway musical 'Love, Janis' about the life of rock singer Janis Joplin. Critics unanimously praised Katrina's performance, and the musical's producers allowed her to showcase her talent without any limitations on the television show 'Saturday Night Live'.
