Biography of Kevin Balot

21-year-old Kevin Balot, a Filipino transgender woman, made headlines when she applied to participate in the international beauty pageant "Miss International Queen 2012" held in Pattaya, Thailand. This competition has been taking place in the country for the past seven years, aiming to empower transgender individuals and help them gain self-confidence. For those whose biological gender does not align with their psychological identity, such contests also provide an opportunity to repair relationships with families and friends who may have struggled to accept their unique identity.

Emerging as the Winner

Out of the 21 contestants representing 15 countries, Kevin Balot from the Philippines emerged as the winner of the "Miss International Queen 2012" pageant. He was crowned by Sirapassorn Atthayakorn, the transgender queen of the previous year's competition. Balot takes great pride in his victory and hopes that his father will appreciate his efforts and accept him for who he truly is. As the only son in his family, Kevin's father has high expectations for him. It remains a mystery how much his father will value his success, but Balot believes that his parent will see not only a son but also a daughter in him.

Achievements and Future Projects

In addition to receiving the main prize of $10,000, Kevin Balot was also named "Miss Photogenic." He confirmed that he had received several offers for photo shoots in Thailand following the competition. However, Balot clarified that the organizers of the "Miss International Queen" pageant would decide which projects he would participate in the future.
