Kim Hyun-il: A Late-Blossoming Defender from South Korea

Early Career

Kim Hyun-il began his professional football journey relatively late at the age of 23, joining Daejeon Citizen in 2002. After a single season at Daejeon, he was snapped up by one of the country's top teams, Pohang Steelers.
