Early Years and Multisport Talent
During her school years, Kim Kreiner had a strong passion for sports. She played basketball and volleyball, and also participated in discus throwing, long jumps, and high jumps. Kim Kreiner is a versatile athlete who achieved great success in various fields of sports. In 1996, she worked as a statistician at the state championship for track and field, where she developed a serious interest in javelin throwing and decided to try her hand at the sport.
College Career and Achievements
After graduating from high school, Kimberly Kreiner enrolled in Kent State University, where she became a member of the track and field team. In her freshman year, she finished fourth in the Mid-American Conference and the USA Juniors competitions. In 1997, she placed third in the NCAA championship. Kim Kreiner obtained her bachelor's degree in 2000.
International Competitions and Records
