Kirstie Allsopp: A Life in Television and Property
Early Life and FamilyKirstie Mary Allsopp was born on August 31, 1971, in Hampshire, England. As the daughter of Charles Henry Allsopp, 6th Baron Hindlip, Kirstie is addressed by the courtesy title "The Honorable Kirstie Allsopp." She has a brother, Henry, and two sisters, Sophie and Natasha.

Education and Career Origins
Allsopp attended ten different schools throughout her education. She spent time in India teaching English before returning to the UK and working for magazines such as "Country Living" and "Food & Homes." She also assisted her mother in her interior design business and established her own property finding company, Kirmir, in 1996.

Television Career
Kirstie Allsopp's television career began with Channel 4 shows such as "Location, Location, Location," "Relocation, Relocation," "Location Revisited," "The Property Chain," and "Kirstie's Homemade Home." She co-hosted these programs with media personality Phil Spencer, except for the latter two.
Personal Life
Kirstie lives in London with her partner, property developer Ben Anderson. They have two children, Bay Atlas and Oscar Hercules. Allsopp is also a stepmother to Hal and Orion, Anderson's children from a previous relationship.
Accolades and Recognition
In 2009, Kirstie Allsopp was ranked third on Davina McCall's list of the sexiest female television presenters in lingerie. She was surpassed only by McCall and Nigella Lawson.
