Biography of Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ

Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, a Turkish actor, was born on October 27, 1983, in Adana, Turkey. He comes from a large family, with four brothers and sisters, and his parents Erdem and Nurtan Tatlıtuğ. His father is a Kosovar Albanian from Pristina.

Early Life and Education

Tatlıtuğ attended a private college where he developed a passion for basketball due to his tall stature. However, he had to leave the sport after his father fell ill and required heart surgery. As a result, he moved to Istanbul to continue his education. During this time, he played for the basketball team Beşiktaş but had to leave due to an injury.

He then pursued his interest in acting and studied at the drama studio of the state theater. In 2001, he began his career as a model and won the titles of Best Model of Turkey and Best Model of The World in 2002.

Tatlıtuğ gained widespread fame and recognition for his role as Behlül in the television series "Forbidden Love," where he starred alongside one of the most popular actresses, Beren Saat. He also played the lead role in the TV series "Kurt Seyit and Shura." Since August 2016, he has been appearing in the series "Brave and Beautiful," where he is paired with renowned actress Tuba Büyüküstün.

In 2004, Tatlıtuğ started dating actress Azra Akın, but the couple ended their relationship in January 2013. In mid-2013, he began dating stylist Başak Dizer, and on February 19, 2016, the couple got married.
