Koharu Kusumi is a Japanese J-Pop singer, idol, and voice actress. She is best known for her time as a member of the popular girl group Morning Musume and for her role as the main character in the anime "Kirarin Revolution."

Early Life and Career

Kusumi was born on July 15, 1992 in Kanagawa, Japan. As a child, she was a talented volleyball player and served as captain of her school team. At the age of 12, she became the youngest solo debutant in the Hello! Project history.

Morning Musume and Hello! Project

In 2005, Kusumi auditioned for Morning Musume and became the only member of the group's seventh generation. She joined the group on May 1, 2005 and her audition and debut were documented on the TV show "Hello! Morning." Kusumi also became a member of the Metro Rabbits H.P. team and began her voice acting career in 2006, playing the lead role in the anime "Kirarin Revolution."

MilkyWay and Kira Pika

Kusumi was a member of the groups MilkyWay and Kira Pika, which were formed for the "Kirarin Revolution" anime. These groups disbanded when the anime ended in 2009.
