Minnesinger and Nobleman
In the latter half of the 13th century emerged a renowned minstrel and nobleman from Thurgau. He devoted his services to Rudolf of Habsburg, accompanying him on numerous campaigns.
Literary Contributions
History has preserved a legacy of 102 stanzas showcasing the minstrel's poetic prowess. His verses, characterized by the conventional style of knightly poets, extolled the virtues of love. These have been meticulously compiled and published in Hagen's "Minnesinger" and in "Germania" (Volume IX).
