Lakshmipriya: A Devout Krishnaite Saint
Early Life and MarriageLakshmipriya, a revered Krishnaite saint, flourished in late 15th to early 16th century Bengal. She was the first wife of the prominent Vaishnava saint and religious reformer Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Within the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, Chaitanya is esteemed as a joint incarnation of Krishna and his feminine counterpart, Radha.
Devotion to Chaitanya
