Biography of Laura Dahl
Laura Dahl is an American fashion designer born on November 12, 1974, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She grew up with a passion for horses and often says that she practically grew up on horseback. Dahl studied at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, before continuing her education at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Early Career
Before launching her own contemporary women's clothing line, Dahl worked for fashion houses such as Cynthia Rowley, Anne Bowen, and Catherine Malandrino. In 2003, she introduced her first line called 'Wifebeader by Laura Dahl', which featured elaborately embellished tops. The collection gained attention after being featured in the fashion newsletter 'Daily Candy' and was soon ordered by 'Bloomingdale's' and the retail chain 'Anthropologie'.

The Laura Dahl Brand
The 'Laura Dahl' brand was launched in the fall of 2006, and the products were sold at the department store 'Nordstrom'. In the same year, Dahl was chosen by the producers of the TV series 'The L Word', which aired from January 18, 2004, to March 8, 2009, on Showtime Network, as one of the designers whose outfits were worn by the show's characters.
Personal Life
Laura Dahl is the older sister of Matthew Gray Gubler, an actor and director known for his role as Spencer Reid in the crime drama series 'Criminal Minds', which he has been a part of since 2004.
