Early LifeLauren Cohan was born on January 7, 1982, in Cherry Hill Township, Camden County, New Jersey, USA. She is the daughter of an American father and an English mother, and she has Irish, Norwegian, and Scottish roots. Cohan took her stepfather's surname, Cohen, after her mother Susan married him. Susan converted to Judaism, and Lauren has been a practitioner of the religion since the age of five.
