Biography of Leeroy Thornhill

Early Life and Dance Passion

Leeroy Thornhill, a former member of the Prodigy, is a DJ and a tall dancer. Since a young age, Leeroy has been interested in dancing and has always been a big fan of James Brown. As a child, Leeroy would spend his days sitting in front of the television, watching James Brown dance videos, and trying to imitate his moves. Leeroy was also among those who caught the breakdance craze in the early 1980s. He would roam the streets of Essex with his friends, searching for dance spots, carrying a bottle of "Mr. Sheen" with him.

Friendly and Talented

Leeroy is known for his friendly nature. If he complains about something, it is a genuine problem. He is a very quiet guy, unless there are women around, in which case he instantly becomes sociable and outgoing. Few people know that Leeroy also engages in music production. In fact, he even released an album under the pseudonym "Longman".

Departure from Prodigy and Solo Career

On April 4, 2000, Leeroy left the Prodigy. According to the other members of the group, they no longer needed a dancer. Currently, Leeroy is pursuing a solo career under the name "FlightCrank". In the summer of 2000, he released his first single, "Twisted". The single had a limited release, and only a few had the opportunity to hear it. As Leeroy himself states, he does not want to become popular. "It is enough for me that some people enjoy my work. That's all I need right now."
