Biography of Liew Thow Lin, the Magnetic Man
Liew Thow Lin, also known as the Magnetic Man, is a Malaysian individual who possesses incredible magnetic abilities. Not only do ordinary people find his abilities astonishing, but even doctors and scientists are left perplexed after encountering him. Numerous photographs available on the internet show the elderly Malaysian man with various metal objects attached to his body, including spoons, kitchen utensils, an axe, and even several bricks. It has been calculated that the Magnetic Man can hold objects weighing up to 2kg each.

Born in Malaysia, Liew Thow Lin has always had these remarkable abilities. After extensive research conducted at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) by Professor Nasrul Humaimi Mahmood, it was concluded that there are no magnetic properties within Liew's body. Instead, it was found that his skin possesses certain "suction" properties, allowing him to hold objects on its surface. This conclusion was agreed upon by Dr. Mohamed Amin Alias, a professor at the same university's Electrical Engineering Faculty.

Interestingly, these extraordinary skin properties have been inherited by Liew's two sons, both of whom possess the rare ability to attract objects to themselves. Even Liew's grandsons are growing up with the same abilities. Not only do Liew's magnetic powers astonish ordinary people, but they also leave doctors and scientists puzzled. It is worth mentioning that a similar natural body magnetism was demonstrated by Polish artist Miroslaw Magola, who could lift metal objects from the floor by merely touching them, without physically grabbing them.
In terms of Liew Thow Lin's current status, he remains relatively unknown today as he did not pursue a career in show business. However, he has been featured in several documentaries and programs, including the Discovery Channel's show "One Step Beyond," which showcased Liew Thow Lin and his remarkable abilities. In 2006, when he gained some media attention, Liew was 78 years old.
