Lindsey Johnson McKeon: A Talented American Actress

Lindsey Johnson McKeon is an American actress, known for her roles in the long-running American soap opera "Guiding Light" and the popular teen drama series "One Tree Hill." She was born on March 11, 1982, in Summit, New Jersey, but her parents soon moved her to Los Angeles, California, where she grew up as an only child.

Early Life and Hobbies

In her free time, Lindsey enjoys swimming, horseback riding, skiing, and reading. Some of her favorite authors include William Shakespeare, John Irving, and poet Maya Angelou.

Acting Career

Lindsey began learning the basics of acting and performing when she was 10 years old. She started by appearing in several TV commercials, and at the age of 13, she landed a small role in an episode of the children's series "Boy Meets World."

During high school, Lindsey was a member of the swim team and water polo team, and her love for competitions greatly helped her feel confident during athletic events. At one point, when asked what she would have become if she wasn't an actress, Lindsey said she had considered a career as an FBI agent.

Breakthrough Roles

In 1996, Lindsey was cast as Katie Peterson in the popular series "Saved by the Bell: The New Class." She was the only cast member who graduated from high school in the same year as her character. Her next major role was that of Marah Lewis in "Guiding Light," for which she received Daytime Emmy Award nominations in 2002 and 2003. Lindsey was the last actress to portray Marah, as the role had been played by six different actresses since 1987.

In "One Tree Hill," Lindsey portrayed Taylor James, the older sister of one of the main characters, Haley James, played by Bethany Joy Galeotti. Interestingly, Lindsey is younger than Bethany in real life. She also made guest appearances in shows like "Supernatural," "Veronica Mars," and "House, M.D."

In 2010, Lindsey returned to "One Tree Hill" for four episodes, further solidifying her popularity as an actress.

Lindsey Johnson McKeon has proven her talent and versatility as an actress throughout her career. With her notable roles and nominations, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
