Entry into the Fashion World

Loris Azzaro was always drawn to the world of fashion, and in the early 1960s, he presented his first collection, which turned out to be very successful. Interestingly, Azzaro, who managed to conquer the Fashion Capital, never belonged to the Paris Fashion Syndicate. Despite this, he dressed some of the world's top fashion icons such as Brigitte Bardot, Raquel Welch, and Sophia Loren. Azzaro's dresses were known for their elegant and flowing materials, and he also designed accessories such as handbags, shoes, and hats. His signature color was always black in various forms.

Success in Perfumery

In the mid-1970s, Azzaro launched his first fragrance, 'Azzaro Couture Pour Homme,' which quickly became a classic. Azzaro gained international recognition through his perfumes, showcasing his talent and taste. He released numerous fragrances under the 'Azzaro' brand, including 'Eau Belle' for women, 'Ohlala' for women, 'Acteur' for men, 'Orange Tonic' for women, 'Visit For Men' for men, and many others.

Legacy and Succession

In the late 1990s, Azzaro's daughter, Beatrice, took over as the head of the Fashion House. Since 2004, the brand has been led by Vanessa Seward, a renowned designer who has worked in the industry for many years. In 2000, the Azzaro Fashion House faced a scandal when Loris Azzaro's wife, Michelle, was accused of interfering in the private lives of the House's clients and received a suspended sentence. It was revealed during the investigation that the House had various surveillance devices, which came as a surprise to Loris. The scandal was attributed to Michelle's jealousy towards the famous and influential clients of the House.

Loris Azzaro's wife, Michelle, was also incredibly beautiful and elegant. Loris initially started creating his designs and fragrances for her. Throughout his life, Loris remained slim, tanned, and had aristocratic manners. He passed away from cancer in Paris on November 20, 2003, at the age of 70.
