Early LifeLouise Bourgoin, a French actress, model, and television presenter, was born on November 28, 1981, in Vannes, France. Her father was a philosophy teacher in Vannes, Morbihan department, in western Brittany, while her mother worked as a psychiatrist. Louise's parents divorced when she was young. Despite their hopes for her to have a stable profession, Louise pursued her passion for art and attended the School of Fine Arts in Rennes to become an art teacher. She also began working as a model, posing for renowned photographer Ian Sanderson.

Career as a Presenter
In 2004, Louise Bourgoin became one of the hosts of the show "Kawaï!" on the channel "Filles TV," where she wrote and presented her ideas. Two years later, she moved to the channel "Direct 8." Simultaneously, she collaborated with host Marc Lacombe to prepare pilot episodes for the channel "PLAYSTATION TV," although the channel never began broadcasting. From 2006 to June 2008, Louise served as the weather presenter on the show "Le Grand Journal" on Canal+, hosted by journalist and producer Michel Denisot. To avoid being compared to Ariane Massenet, she decided to change her name from Ariane to Salomé and then adopted the pseudonym Louise Bourgoin, inspired by the artworks of artist Louise Bourgeois.
Career as an Actress
In 2008, Louise Bourgoin made her acting debut in the film "The Girl from Monaco" directed by Anne Fontaine, which was released on August 20, 2008. The director was looking for a "young, reckless, and free-spirited" girl. In the movie, Louise played the role of a weather presenter alongside Fabrice Luchini. In 2010, she portrayed the lead role of Adèle Blanc-Sec in the film "The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec," directed and written by Luc Besson.
In 2013, Louise appeared in Guillaume Nicloux's film "The Nun," which participated in the main program of the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival.
Personal Life
From 2007 to 2010, Louise Bourgoin was in a relationship with singer Julien Doré. Afterward, she entered a relationship with musician Tangi Daste, known by his stage name Tepr. The couple has two sons. Their first son, Étienne, was born on April 7, 2016, named after Étienne de La Boétie. In 2020, they welcomed their second son.
