Manny Manuel: A Musical Maestro
Early Life and Musical BeginningsBorn in 1972 in the mountainous region of Puerto Rico, Manny Manuel (real name: Cruz Manuel Hernández Santiago) showed signs of musical talent from a young age. By his teenage years, he had mastered the merengue dance and later joined the group 'Mayra y Celinés' as a vocalist and choreographer.

The Birth of 'Los Sabrosos del Merengue'
Manuel played an instrumental role in the formation and success of the merengue band 'Los Sabrosos del Merengue'. With them, he released two acclaimed albums: 'Sin Fronteras' and 'Haciendo Historia'.

Solo Career and Commercial Success
In 1994, Manuel embarked on a solo path and released his debut album, 'Rey de Corazones'. This album earned him platinum status in Puerto Rico. He followed this success with 'Auténtico' the following year. Manuel's charisma and talent made him a beloved performer, gracing the stages of major concerts, including one alongside the legendary 'Trio Los Condes'.
International Expansion and Acclaim
Manuel's international fame grew with a tour of the Dominican Republic in 1997 and subsequent performances in Mexico and the United States. He also collaborated with Antonio 'El Topo' Cabán Vale on a traditional merengue track that same year.
In 1998, Manuel conquered Spain with his hit song 'Como Duele'. His album 'Es Mi Tiempo' went gold in the country. The allure of his exotic style and his extraordinary stage presence led him to relocate to the United States in the early 2000s.
