Early Life and Education
Marianna Kiyanovska was born into a literary family, with her grandfather serving as a professor at Lviv University. She pursued Ukrainian philology at the university, graduating in 1997. During her studies, she joined the female literary group "MMYUNNA TUHA."
Literary Career
Kiyanovska's literary career encompasses poetry, translation, literary criticism, and literary studies. She is a member of the National Writers' Union of Ukraine and coordinates the Lviv branch of the Association of Ukrainian Writers.
Poetry
Kiyanovska's poetry is characterized by its depth and originality. Despite criticism as being "standard," it exhibits virtuoso poetic technique and is replete with biblical and other cultural-historical allusions.
Prose
In 2008, Kiyanovska published the prose book "Stezhka vdovzh riky," which became a literary sensation of the year.
